The 2022 J/109 North American Championship will be held at Pequot Yacht Club as a stand alone event

  • Monday,  Oct 10th 12:45 Flt 1140: Chris will pick us up at Bradley Airport.

Dinner: Light in the Main suite. *REMEMBER THAT WE HAVE WEIGH IN’S*
  • Tues, Oct 11th  am WEIGH IN
    • 10:30 BOAT TO SLIP 1 FOR INSPECTION
    • LUNCH
    • PRACTICE
    • DINNER
  • WED – SAT: RACE
  • FRIDAY: MUSIC AND PIZZA  FOR  LEADING EDGE & VENTO in our suites at  Delamar. 
  • Sunday

Chris & Tom deliver the boat then uber to the airport
Tom & Diana leave in SUV to get unloaded at storage and load SUV in Newport for transport to Houston on Monday, Oct 17th.
  • Tuesday, Oct 18th T & D fly home.

  • Tuesday, October 11th: Inspections, weigh-in, practice race

    • 0900-1800: Check-in, Crew weigh-in

    • 0930-1400: Boat Measurement/Inspections (Leading Edge @ 1030)

    • 1500-1630: Optional organized practice starts. Boats are free to practice at any time on their own.

    • 1745: Cocktail Party & Skipper’s Meeting at Pequot Yacht Club

  • Wednesday October 12th: Race Day 1

    • 0800-0930: Check-in, Initial crew weigh-in

    • 1100: Warning Signal

    • 1745: Opening Cocktail Party at Pequot Yacht Club

    • Crew Dinner with Vento Solare afterwards at Delamar

  • Thursday-Saturday, October 13-15: Racing Days 2-4

    • 0800-0930: Substitute crew weigh-in

    • 1100: Warning Signal

  • Friday, October 14: Championship dinner for sailors and guests

  • Saturday, October 15:

    • 1430: No Warning Signal after this time

    • Awards Ceremony
